CELEBRATION OF LIFE OF LATE HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY OBA SEN DR LEKAN BALOGUN CFR, the 42nd OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND AND the LAUNCHING OF THE ABI FOOD BANK PROJECT IN HIS MEMORY.

Throughout his life, Oba Lekan Balogun never wanted to hear that a family was unable to feed. He would do whatever was in his power to ensure that the family at least FED.

On the day of his posthumous birthday 18th October 2024 we intend doing prayers, serve our people with moi moi and puff puff in his memory.

We believe that residents are aware that after our late fathers final burial, we cooked for 3,000 servings on the day of Ileya the 16th June 2024, which was stated by everyone present as having gone extremely well. The following Friday, we served moi moi, and subsequently, every Friday, we served either moi moi or puff puff as Saara nonstop to date at Baba’s residence in his memory.

We look forward to his posthumous birthday.

Council of Ibadan Indigenes Abuja visit Olubadan
Today, Sunday 10th of March 2024, representatives of the Council of Ibadan Indigenes Abuja (CIIA) led by Alfa Abdulhameed B Elesinla paid a courtesy visit to His Imperial Majesty Oba Sen Dr Lekan Balogun CFR to appreciate him for his recognition of the FCT Ibadan Indigenes. During their visit, the CIIA presented the Revered Monarch with a portrait of himself. My amiable junior brother, Prince Saheed Balogun, was on hand to represent me as the Aremo Olubadan of Ibadanland.
